Corrugated Cardboard Industry Cutting Blade Classification And Common Materials

There are many kinds of cutting blades used in corrugated cardboard production lines, including: top knives, bottom knives, arc grooving knives, cross-cutting rotary knives, etc. The commonly used materials of different blades are also different.

1. Corrugated board slitting circular knife is mainly used for the slitting of carton board and honeycomb board (three layers, five layers and seven layers) in the corrugated cardboard industry. Common materials include 9CrSi, Cr12MoV, YG10, YG13, YG13A, YG15 D2, carbide, etc.

2. Bottom knife of corrugated paper is mainly used for the longitudinal cutting of carton board in the corrugated cardboard industry, and is used with the top knife. Common materials include 9Crsi, 9Mn2V, 42CrMo, D2, cemented carbide, etc.

3. Slotting blade is the key component in the carton printing slotting machine. The quality of the arc slotting blade directly affects the quality of the finished corrugated box. Common materials include 9CrSi, SKD-11, D2, M2, etc.

4. Cross-cutting helical cutters (also often called throwing knives, cross-cutting knives, helical knives) are important accessories in carton processing machinery, which directly affect the size accuracy of the finished cardboard, the uniformity of the creasing lines and the appearance of the incision. Commonly used materials include knife-edge inlaid M2, W18Cr4V, SKH-51, cemented carbide, etc.
