No matter what kind of blade needs to be polished after use, and the correct grinding is the key to ensure product quality and reduce the cost of using the knife.
Whether it is a round knife or a long knife, a good grinder is needed to ensure correct grinding. Especially for the hot rolled long knife with curved line blade, it is best to add a CNC three-axis linkage grinder.
To select the appropriate grinding wheel (type, size and hardness) and grinding parameters. This data can be obtained from the blade supplier and then formed into the factory specification.
Record the grinding date, parameters, grinding amount and grinding reasons for each sharpening. Then combined with output records, quality records are summarized, for the future selection of suppliers and cutting parameters for reference.
Knife sharpening must be mastered in their own hands, the operator must master the essentials of knife sharpening. The author saw that many factories will entrust the important process of sharpening the knife to social factories, which is a foolish move that cannot guarantee product quality and reduce costs.
Blade sharpening should be coordinated and connected with the major and minor repairs of the machine as far as possible.
The blade must be worn off enough so that the fatigue layer and tiny cracks of the blade can be worn off, and the specific amount depends on its own summary.
