Several popular methods of veneer cutting

1. Rotary-Cut Veneer
The whole log rotating, but rotary knife not moving, it's a cost-effective method.
2. Slicing Veneer
Flat sawn lumber is passed flat over a fixed knife. As it passes, a sheet of veneer is sliced from the bottom of the board.
3. Flat-cut Veneer
It is widely used. It is manufactured by advancing a half or more than half log against a fixed knife with an up-and-down movement. It is available for most wood species.
