Extrusion granulation (二)- film extrusion granulation

Roller extrusion granulation, the preparation process is to put the soft material between the roller and the annular small plate, the extruded soft material through the small plate to form particles, the first is used to process feed and organic materials.

The mixed material is added to the die plate of the granulator by the screw feeder, and the rolling roller rotates on the die plate to produce a strong extrusion force to roll the material, so that the material is forced through the hole plate of the die plate to become a cylindrical particle, which is cut off by the cutter at the same time to form a short column particle and discharged from the hopper.

1. Horizontal press mode extruder granulator

Brief introduction of structure:

This type of press mold is installed horizontally, and there are 2~3 press rollers in the mold. The raw material is nipped into the rotating die and pressed to continuously extrude it into pellets. This is the most common type of roller granulator, which is produced by most enterprises. (1) Put the dry powder into the first stage screw feeder, control the feed amount on one side, and fall into the second stage paddle type agitator on the other. In order to facilitate granulation, water is added here for high speed mixing, and then supplied to the granulation chamber of the granulator, which is extruded into pellets by the press die and the press roll. ① The screw part of the screw feeder can accurately supply raw materials, and the pitch of the blade is gradually lengthened to the outer end. In order to allow the pelletizer body to be freely assembled in the equipment, the housing is designed to change 90 directions. The screw speed is stepless, which is easy to adjust the feed amount. The blade of the agitator adopts a blade type that can not only mix raw materials at high speed but also transport them. In order to obtain the physical characteristics suitable for granulation, a steam nozzle is installed on the setting of the mechanism for high temperature treatment, and a binder nozzle is installed in order to produce stronger particles. The speed of the agitator is constant. (3) The granulation principle of the granulation chamber is shown in Figure 2-27. The ring porous press die with horizontal arrangement of the press roll line is rotated by the main motor. The press roll installed in the die does not rotate, but it rotates due to friction with the rotating press die. The raw material into the granulation chamber is evenly distributed between the press rolls by the sporer (stirring bar), and is bitten between the press rolls and the press die, and is connected to the outer edge of the extrusion molding through the press die hole. A knife is installed on the periphery to cut the particles to appropriate length

2. Vertical press mode extruder granulator

How it works:

Disc extrusion granulator is generally composed of main motor, reducer, press roller device, cutter and disc die. The power of the main engine varies from 18.5 to 110kW according to the model. The axis of the die of this model is vertically mounted with the horizontal plane, and there are two or more presses in the die, and the raw materials are continuously squeezed into pellets between the rotating die and the press roll.
