Boundary wearThe boundary wear on the main cutting edge is often seen on the contact surface with the workpiece.The main reason is the friction caused by the workpiece surface hardening, serrated chip, which affects the direction of chip and leads to the collapse knife. The cutting speed and feeding speed can only be reduced, while the wear-resistant cutting tool material is selected and the front Angle is increased to make the cutting edge sharp.3. Front edge wear (crescent depression wear) :Wear on the front surface caused by friction and diffusion.The front surface wear is mainly caused by the contact between chip and workpiece material and the diffusion of heating area. In addition, the tool material is too soft, the cutting speed is too high and the feed quantity is too large in the process of machining, which is also the cause of the front surface wear. Front blade wear can deform the tool, interfere with chip removal and reduce cutting edge strength. Mainly used to reduce the cutting speed and feed speed.
